Online Art Friends

About this event

Hey disabled artist friend, let’s get together online and talk about art and do some art, and just hang out together online.

No stress, no pressure, participate as much as you like.

All art and craft mediums are welcome, beginners to professionals warmly embraced.

The get together will be using Zoom videoconferencing software. Email us at info@creativescollective.org if you need help getting Zoom on your computer or tablet.

Agenda looks roughly like

5 minutes – Introduction

30 minutes – Show and Tell from previous month from everyone who feels like it

10 minute – Break

15 minutes – questions, networking, opportunities from everyone

45 minutes – doing art with friends

Global Hacks Hackathon: 2022 – 2023

About this event

Global Hacks is hosting a hackathon aimed toward promoting a higher level of education and diversity in STEM for all students across the world. Our goal is to introduce to students professional APIs and tools to inspire them to launch their own ideas and projects to tackle global problems. By bringing together innovative minds and students with an appetite for knowledge, Global Hacks provides the perfect environment for everyone to succeed and grow.

PRIZES

Depending on our generous sponsors and partners, prizes such as amazon gift cards, apple products, and more will be rewarded to the winning teams of the final hackathon!

More information will be released nearing the starting ceremony of the hackathon.

ELIGIBILITY

 

All students with an appetite for knowledge are welcome to attend! Students and beginners are especially encouraged to participate, as this hackathon will provide the perfect environment and tools to learn and grow. No coding or web development is necessary as workshops will provide you with everything you’ll need.

 

You will be asked to produce proof of student status prior to the event’s commencement, ( e.g. student id or student email domain).

Cupcakes, Coffee & Connections – Virtual

Come to this month’s Cupcakes, Coffee & Connections virtual meeting!

 

Same meeting, just virtual. Anyone can attend from anywhere! We will breakout into virtual rooms and our virtual lead sheet is available on attendee event page on Eventbrite to print well in advance.

 

Cupcakes, Coffee & Connections is a women’s networking group with a unique approach to facilitating the support of our fellow businesswomen, hot leads and deep connections.

 

We would love to have you come network with us this month! Please only book a ticket if you are able to attend this popular event, so we have full attendance without leaving anyone out who wanted to participate. *If you book a ticket and then no-show without notice, you will not be able to attend the next 2 meetings.

 

50 virtual seats available. Please have Zoom installed in advance (create an account for free). The link & password are on the attendee event page on Eventbrite. (message with any access challenges well before event). Be prepared with the ability to take notes and be ready to dive into support/networking in small groups.
